Ethan T. Mock

Ethan is a shareholder at Pray Walker, joining the firm in 2017. He graduated from The University of Tulsa College of Law in 2015 where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Energy Law Journal and was an active member of the Native American Law Student Association. Ethan concentrates a majority of his practice in the areas of energy law and oil and gas title examination and drafts drill site and division order title opinions. His energy law practice also includes assisting clients in completing due diligence for leasehold acquisitions, drafting assignments of oil and gas leasehold and mineral interests, advising on lease clause interpretations, and assisting operators with the Oklahoma Surface Damages Act and surface use agreements. In addition, he assists with legal research and writing in various oil and gas litigation issues. Ethan brings a wide range of experience to individuals and large operators in Oklahoma.

Ethan is listed in the Oklahoma Super Lawyers' 2023 list of "Oklahoma Rising Stars," which recognizes the state's top up-and-coming attorneys.

Ethan is a native of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he helped with his family's cattle operation and three generation family-owned business (Mock Brothers' Saddlery) where he learned to build western saddles and other western tack for local ranches and their ranch hands. Prior to law school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University.
