In 1979, three prominent Tulsa law firms – the business practice of Pray, Williamson & Marlar, the litigation firm of Floyd Walker and Warren Jackman, and a well established labor law practice – merged to form Pray Walker. Three decades have passed, and the firm name is now Pray Walker, P.C., but the benefits of that union continue to this day. Through that merger and subsequent growth, the Firm is able to deliver a wide range of legal services in business and trial counseling to its clients.
The firm’s practice today reflects its heritage. Our trial attorneys focus on general business and commercial litigation; oil, gas and environmental cases; labor and employment; products liability; personal injury and bankruptcy matters. The Firm’s corporate attorneys concentrate in a variety of business law areas, including energy, securities, mergers and acquisitions, banking, corporate governance, financial transactions, real estate transactions, environmental law, labor and employment relations, employee benefits, and tax planning.
Pray Walker is committed to the delivery of exceptional legal service in a timely manner. We give special attention to each client’s unique circumstances and emphasize responsiveness and consistent client communication. Because it is important to view each situation with an understanding of the client’s perspective, we strive to develop close working relationships with our clients and a deep understanding of the essential workings of their business. It is this partnership approach to problem solving that continues as the hallmark of our practice philosophy.
Pray Walker couples its regional, national and international experience with a dedication to the advancement of our community as a business and cultural center. Our attorneys have participated in all levels of Tulsa community leadership, including elected positions such as the City Council, leadership positions on various planning commissions and boards, and volunteer work with a host of civic and charitable organizations. We encourage the participation of all attorneys in legal and other professional associations related to our clients’ activities. The Firm achieves two goals through this commitment – the advancement of local organizations with attendant benefits to the community, and the broadening of our own experience to better understand and anticipate our clients’ needs.
Pray Walker, P.C.— committed to excellence and dedicated to the delivery of practical, cost-effective solutions to the issues at hand.
